Vaselyne is a dark wave band formed by Dutch singer Yvette Winkler and Dutch musician/producer Frank Weyzig. Yvette was co-founder of Dutch band Sea of Souls and has lent her vocals to albums by artists such as Pieter Nooten. Frank Weyzig is known for his contributions to the original line-up of “Clan of Xymox” and his work with indie new wave bands ‘Born For Bliss’ and ‘Tearing The BlackBox’.

In their early years, Vaselyne released four albums; ‘Earthbound’ EP (2012), their debut album ‘The Fire Within’ (2013), ‘In Dreams’ EP (2015) and ‘Fragile’ EP (2016). After taking a break until early 2020, the band picked things up again and in the fall of 2021, Vaselyne signed with COP International. Their first official release on COP International was “The Winter EP”, released December 2021, followed by their “Here to Begin” EP in March 2022 and the “Shame” EP in May 2022. In June 2022, Vaselyne released their long-awaited full album “The Sea Says”, which was met with critical acclaim and solidified their place in the dark wave scene.
