BORN FOR BLISS

Born For Bliss emerged in the 1990s as an alternative indie wave band, founded by Dutch musicians Frank Weyzig and Willem van Antwerpen, both formerly of the revered Clan of Xymox. They later welcomed Dutch multi-instrumentalist Remco Helbers into the fold. Together, this trio crafts an enchanting psychedelic wave sound that captured audiences with their debut album “Flowing With the Flu” in 1996, along with the hit single “Arabia.”

However, their journey faced hurdles following the completion of their subsequent album, “Between Living and Dreaming,” encountering setbacks with their management and record label, leading to a hiatus.

In a remarkable turn, Frank Weyzig successfully crowdfunded the creation of a new B4B album titled “Falling Back to Never” in 2015, released via the German label Echozone. This launch was followed by three EPs—”Innocent,” “Better Than Me,” and “Falling Back”—comprising outtakes and remixes from the album. Born For Bliss is now gearing up for a 2024 album release, signaling their return to the music scene.
