StarGazing Project

Frank Weyzig and Remco Helbers, both members of Born for Bliss, reunited to explore a new musical venture steeped in inspiration drawn from the depths of the Internet. Their project, StarGazing, took shape under the influence of modern enigmas: from conspiracies to alien encounters, and the myriad of peculiar events that populate our digital age.

Delving into online repositories, they stumbled upon a gripping spoken interview recounting an alleged alien abduction. This chance encounter sparked the genesis of the StarGazing project. The track “Stargazing” emerged from this audio, encapsulating the emotional turmoil of the interviewee, vividly affected by her experience.

As they composed the album’s music, a consistent, eerie emotion began threading through each song. Even the lyrics underwent a similar transformation, seamlessly oscillating between dreams and reality. Through meticulous editing and arrangement, a narrative emerged—a tale chronicling a woman seemingly losing touch with reality, as witnessed through the eyes of her friend. Yet, the lingering question persists: Is her grasp on reality truly slipping away?…
